1C licenses

Main categories
-
Configuration delivery (main license)
A license to use a specific application (configuration). Usually purchased at initial rollout or when expanding the product set. -
1C server license
Authorizes the 1C application server (cluster, work processes, etc., depending on the edition). -
Client access licenses
Define how many concurrent workstations (sessions) can connect to an infobase. Often sold in packages (e.g. 5, 10, 20 seats per package). -
Information technology support (ITS)
A subscription covering updates, vendor services, and support for a chosen term (e.g. 3, 6, 12, or 24 months).
General rules (guidelines)
- Licensing is not one-size-fits-all: counts and components depend on your deployment (databases, servers, users).
- Server and client licenses complement each other; you usually need a consistent set for your architecture.
- Client packages have a nominal seat count per package; total seats = number of packages × nominal seats.
- Vendor and partner terms apply in addition to any technical summary on the website.
